Today hasn’t been too spooky with Batman around to protect me!

Batman looks a little sad in this picture-I think I had just told him that he needed to find a new bat cave on the other side of the library. Poor Batman.
Charlie was a Power Ranger at Trunk-or-Treat Sunday, but after several costume changes this morning, decided on Batman for the day. Maddie stuck with a princess, of course.
We had so much fun at storytime this morning. All the kids dressed up and we read Halloween books and decorated pumpkins. Check out these photogenic cuties!
We had a great time trick-or-treating tonight. The kids were SO EXCITED!
This was the first year that they could both really get what was going on-that they got to spend the day dressed in costume, then go to people’s doors and get candy. It was so precious. Jason and I stood on the sidewalk while they ran together to the doors, rang the doorbells, said “Trick-or-Treat,” held out their pails, said “Thank you” with a little prodding from me, then came back to us holding out their candy like they had really done something.
We hit the jackpot in their Gramma’s neighborhood-those people know how to hand out some candy!
The sugar really hit when they got home, so Charlie and Maddie got to run some laps around the kitchen island. Charlie said “Halloween is my favorite day of the whole year!” Hahahaha!
Now they are asleep, so I better go check out the candy….you know, just to make sure it’s safe for them to eat.
Cute pics Laresa and such a fun holiday for little peeps 🙂 Definitely test the candy….you want to check these kind of things very carefully, it’s a tough job!
I’m on it, Jennie! 🙂
If your lil batman had a voice changer it would be absolutely awesome lol! cute costumes 🙂 *steals a piece of chocolate*
Hahaha! That would have been really funny!
It would throw everyone off with a priceless look on their faces XD
