Charlie, Maddie, and I met Casey and Emma, Julie, and Daddy at the Greensboro Farmer’s Market today to look around a little and have lunch for an early Father’s Day celebration. I have never been before but have driven by it a million times and always wanted to stop. Now that the kids are a little older and easier to take places, I will definitely be stopping by when I go past. It was full of great fruits and veggies, soaps, wood work, and different local stuff.
We had lunch at the Moose Cafe and it was very good. Now that we have young kids in tow most of the time, our Father’s Day lunches aren’t quite as relaxing as they once were! Daddy reminded me and Casey today that we need to enjoy the kids at the ages they are now, because when they turn 12 it will be a nightmare! Obviously, Casey, Julie, and I weren’t the easiest teenagers to deal with…
We had such a fun time, but we always do when all of us can get together. I have been blessed with a wonderful, loving, giving dad who taught me about hard work and sacrifice. Happy Father’s Day, Daddy!
