For the past week or so, Maddie has decided that she needs to get up at 6 (or soon after) to begin her busy day. While Charlie was always satisfied laying in his crib for awhile, pondering the meaning of life, Maddie will yell, “Mama, I’m awake!” until I come to get her. I do enjoy sleeping a little later than 6, but I am generally a morning person so this isn’t too bad.
A positive aspect of Maddie’s new waking habit is that I can get a tremendous amount done in the morning! Maddie likes to get up and lay in our recliner with a soft blanket, a cup of juice, and a video playing (her current choices are either Elmo or Bible Songs).
Supermodels have to get up very early!

So while she is relaxing, I have plenty of time to get my morning devo done. She Reads Truth (shereadstruth.com) is starting a new devo series today on Peter and I am so excited about it. I have always found Peter to be so interesting, and probably the disciple that I can relate most to. You guys should check it out.
