Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful, relaxing Saturday. Ours has been pretty uneventful. Because of the rainy, snowy weather we have been having all day, the kids and I just pretty much hunkered down in the warmth of the house today. When it snows I always have the urge to cook a big, unhealthy breakfast, so after eating that I felt like doing nothing for the rest of the day!
We did enjoy watching the biggest snowflakes fall that I think I have ever seen. PeeWee enjoyed watching the snow, also.
The birds stayed busy at our bird feeder all day long. We have lots of big, bright red cardinals, but it is hard to get a pic of them! It is amazing how much food they eat. We have to fill up the bird feeder every day or two.
Charlie spent a lot of time playing with his Lego’s today.
So today ended up being a good day to do a lot of nothing! Now I am full from the big bowl of homemade veggie soup that I just ate (another mandatory snow day must-have), so I think I will go do more nothing!

We also stayed inside today. It is funny that it snowed here all day but there is nothing on the ground.
I know, Casey! If all of the snow that fell here stuck, we would have several inches of snow. Oh, well. At this point, I am honestly just ready for summer!
Love the Lego tower! We got nothing here. No rain or snow But, I do have to ask, do you have a problem with squirrels getting into your bird feeder? We can’t keep them away. They tear up our feeders and spill out all the bird seed…it’s really annoying.
No, we have not had a problem with that. Maybe because it is so close to our house? And we keep the bag in the garage. Our problem is that it is really low to the ground so we have some cats stalking the birds! Sandra calls it our cat feeder!
I too, didn’t accomplish allot by man’s rules. But, I watched a movie and I set up my Lowe’s Foods to go account. I have a list of things to accomplish while I’m out. I love crossing out something on my list! Thank you for bringing Charlie and Maddie over for a minute and for the soup! It’s nice to wrap my arms around a child! That makes any day a good day!
We haven’t seen you much this week. We will come over for longer tomorrow!
