Finally, I finished downloading the past month’s worth of pictures off of the camera.  There were more than usual since Charlie’s birthday was last week, and it has been on my mind to do this for days.  Finally, after getting both kids to bed, I decided to just go for it.  Jason read about this great, free software called Picasa (picasa.com) and I LOVE it! So I downloaded, edited, and posted to Facebook.  Of course, then I got sucked into the black hole of social networking and wasted several precious minutes doing nothing.

Anyway, if you haven’t tried this software, you need to.  It searched my computer and organized all of my pictures for me by date.  Also, it does a beautiful job editing pictures with one click.  It is what I have been looking for-and best of all, it is free. I know I sound like a commercial for Google, but it really is wonderful.

So now I finally don’t have this hangin over my head anymore.  Now I have printing and scrapbooking hanging over my head.  It’s always something, isn’t it?
